Neolithic burial mound - over 5500 years old. Excavated so you can get inside the grave passage. Reconstructed neolithic house and activity area. Two chapels sit on top of the mound, and there are geology and archaeology galleries. T German bunker from World War II, which houses a memorial to Channel Island slave-workers.

Poole to Jersey - Fast Ferry
Services from Poole are available from 2nd April - 29th October 2007. Some summer services between 21st May & 30th September operate directly to Jersey with crossing times in as little as 3 hours.
Portsmouth to Jersey - Conventional Ferry
This service operates daily except Sundays year round. Portsmouth to Jersey (usually via Guernsey) is a day service with a crossing time of 10 hours 30 minutes.
